Trissino and Valdagno, 8 July<\/b> <\/b>2025<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/i>Rino<\/span> <\/i>Rino Mastrotto and the Marzotto Group announce the launch of <\/span>Jacqart<\/i><\/b> \u2013 Trame d\u2019Arredo<\/i>, a new company specialising in the production of high-quality jacquard fabrics and velvets. The new entity stems from the merger of Imatex23 S.r.l. (\u201cImatex\u201d), a company controlled by Rino Mastrotto, and Prosetex, part of the Marzotto Group.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jacqart<\/i><\/b> <\/i>will combine the expertise of two historic Italian companies: Imatex, founded in 1960 and based in Nibionno (LC), specialising in jacquard fabrics for interior design, both for indoor and outdoor residential use; and Prosetex, active since 1964 in producing jacquard velvets and high-end fabrics for the residential and hospitality,<\/i>\u00a0furnishing sectors. Prosetex also offers a technical collection tailored to the aviation,<\/i>\u00a0marine, and public transport industries, using specially developed technical fibres compliant with safety regulations in those sectors. Jacqart\u2019s headquarters will be in Bulciago (LC), in the Brianza district.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The name Jacqar<\/i>t<\/i><\/strong> \u2013 a blend of Jacquard<\/i> and Art<\/i> \u2013 pays homage to the loom technology shared by both companies, enabling the creation of true \u201cweaves of d\u00e9cor\u201d: intricate designs, innovative textures, and unique weaves that express textile creativity and craftsmanship to bring designers\u2019 visions to life. The name Jacqart<\/i><\/b> <\/i>is paired in its logo with the tagline Trame d'Arredo (\u201cWeaves of D\u00e9cor\u201d).<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This initiative allows furniture and interior brands to access a comprehensive portfolio of fabrics and services \u2013 from smooth and jacquard velvets to a broad fabric range \u2013 all through a single point of contact: Jacqart<\/i>. The project is further strengthened by the industrial know-how of two major groups, Rino Mastrotto and Marzotto Group.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deal involves the transfer of the Prosetex business unit into Imatex. Following this, Rino Mastrotto will hold 60% of the new company and Marzotto Group will hold the remaining 40%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The union of Rino Mastrotto and Marzotto Group creates major synergies for Jacqart<\/i> in terms of raw material procurement \u2013 such as wool, linen, hemp, and cotton \u2013 thanks to Marzotto\u2019s vertically integrated production. The product range is expanded by the addition of jacquard velvets, and enriched further through bespoke<\/i> and customisation services supported by Rino Mastrotto\u2019s expertise in luxury craftsmanship.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Giorgio Meda, a seasoned professional with twenty years of experience \u2013 most recently as Director of Textile Operations at Rubelli \u2013 has been appointed General Manager, leading the industrial integration and operations.<\/i> He will be supported by Massimo Maestroni, an engineer with over 15 years of experience in leading high-end furniture companies, as Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deal <\/i>is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matteo Mastrotto, CEO of Rino Mastrotto, stated:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThis operation allows us to further expand our portfolio of interior design fabrics with the addition of velvets.
